These clients were looking for a complete makeover of  the existing home on this intriguing site. We conducted a detailed survey of the original structure and decided to save the street-front gabled, building. We used the gable as our design motif for an extended addition that follows the slope of the property to create a connector between the existing pool deck and the lower living spaces of this origami-shaped house.  

 

This home will be seeking Passive House certification.
