This garage remodel was a collaboration with contractor, Colin Groth, and designer, Kevin Neilan. We transformed an old garage into a super-insulated multi-purpose studio. We used Passive House principles to guide all decisions around assemblies and mechanical systems. We went beyond performance and included materials re-use. The original redwood siding was refinished and reinstalled, making it fit to protect this building for another few decades.
